Before we know it, we’re already in the second week of September and, yes, fall is just around the corner. Although it often brings a touch of melancholy, it’s one of the seasons when the world around us transforms into a wonderful palette of colors: despite the cold, we’re surrounded by the warmth of golds, oranges, reds, yellows…
Another thing we love about fall is that cold-weather clothes come back. Not the cold itself, but that coat you love so much, the hat you learned to make in our tutorial last winter, your favorite scarf, those boots you adore… Does that happen to you too?
And, of course, the new collections from our favorite brands arrive with new colors and motifs to inspire seasonal designs. That’s why the fabric section of the shop is overflowing with all the new fabrics that have arrived, each one more beautiful than the last.
Today we want to introduce you to one particular design, as an example of a trend that’s making a strong entrance this fall. Colorful prints with tribal influences, featuring geometric shapes on light backgrounds that make them stand out, are becoming the stars of both indoor and outdoor spaces.

These types of designs give interiors a very cheerful, relaxed atmosphere. Positive and full of color, these tribal prints are the perfect accent for bright, light-filled spaces. They’re ideal for quilts, cushions, bedding, upholstery, and much more. The color palette April Rhodes uses in her collection is very cheerful and suitable for everyone, so the effect we achieve when working with it is clean, fun, and bright. Exactly what we want for kids. That’s why it’s perfect for them too: you can use it for accessories or useful items such as bandanas, bibs, diaper-changing mats, pacifier clips, etc. It’s also great for clothing for little ones and grown-ups.
