This time, we’re bringing you a very, very easy tutorial that takes 10 minutes and will be incredibly practical: a phone case you can wear around your neck!
If you need to carry your phone with you, this hanging case is perfect. We made it with clear plastic, which lets you use the phone without taking it out of the case.
If your phone uses fingerprint identification, you won’t be able to use it through the plastic. You’ll have to touch the screen from inside the case or make a small hole where the fingerprint sensor is.
The cord is adjustable, so you can wear it higher or lower according to your preference. In the video tutorial, we explain how to make a sliding knot, and we also show you the option of making it with cord locks.
As I said, it’s a very simple tutorial, and the result is fantastic.
The plastic we used is 200-micron plastic from Bytricia. The cord and embellishments are from The Sewing Cat, and you can find the elastic cord and cord locks at Mercería Botton.
Happy sewing!
