Summer doesn't mean the end of activities for kids in Mataró, oh no! Did you miss last week's sewing camp? No worries: the morning of next Saturday, September 30, at Lulú Ferris is for the little ones at home.
If you see them looking at you with curious, dreamy eyes while you sew. If you've noticed that they have wonderful creative potential but don't yet know how to channel it. If you'd like to give them the chance to try something different. If they love clothes and create fabulous outfits even out of a bedsheet… In any of these cases, a creative sewing class can open up a whole new world of possibilities for them.
Since the education system still isn't very interested in developing their abilities and the things they naturally enjoy and are good at, we'll have to do it ourselves, right?
Our suggestion is to have them come to a single class to try it out. Or, if they've already tried it and enjoyed it, to come back and keep learning.
Sounds good, right? Here are all the details:
- Ages 7 and up: The minimum age for handling the machine and all the tools without problems. The perfect age to start developing their natural talent or simply to have a blast.
- No prior knowledge required: Kids are incredible and, on many occasions, much more skilled than we are! Even if they arrive without ever having touched a sewing machine, they'll leave with a project in their hands and knowing how to use it.
- Different difficulty levels and sewing projects to choose from: Respecting their individuality is extremely important if we truly want to encourage their creativity. That's why we don't all make the same thing in these classes (as often happens at school). Here, each child makes what they want depending on their abilities and what catches their interest.
- Materials included in the price.
- They don't need to own or bring a machine; we provide one, as well as the workspace.
- Schedule: Saturday, September 30, from 10:00 to 13:00, with a breakfast break (although they do have to bring breakfast from home).
- Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 6.
- Total price: 30 € (materials included).
