That’s why we’re bringing you another tutorial with a new design, so you can make as many as you like. The pattern includes two sizes, one taller and one flatter.

At first, we imagined using them to pick up hot plates/cups/bowls when you put them in the microwave so you don’t burn yourself—or, on the other hand, if you like eating ice cream from large tubs (mhmmm.), to hold the tub without freezing your hands.

But as we made them, more ideas for using them kept coming to mind, so in the end we called them multipurpose baskets because, as the name says, they’re for a thousand uses.

To sew these pretty little baskets, you’ll only need two pretty fabrics—or one, if you prefer—and a little batting. The fabrics we used are from Lablu Barcelona.

Here’s the pattern. Remember to print it at 100% scale.

And here’s the video tutorial. Don’t forget to follow us on YouTube and other social media to keep up with everything.

Happy sewing!
