Do you have bored little ones at home during the holidays? Would you like them to do something creative and fun? Would you like them to spend some time with other boys and girls instead of sitting in front of the TV all morning? Our sewing workshop for boys and girls in Mataró is officially open!
Well, actually, there are still a few days before it begins—the perfect amount of time to sign up your little artist and give them a different kind of gift. One that lasts beyond childhood.
Our advice, of course, is to give it a try. If there’s one thing experience has shown us, it’s that they have a wonderful time and always leave happy. Here are all the details!
mornings from January 2 to 5
How do the dates work for you? To start the year off on a VERY good foot (and with very good hands), the workshop will run from Tuesday, January 2, through Friday, January 5. Four days to get to know one another, imagine, learn through play, unleash creativity, develop new skills, and build self-esteem by making useful and beautiful things.
The schedule is from 10:00 to 13:00, with a short break to eat something, laugh, share, and take a breather before continuing.
Who is this workshop for?
This sewing workshop is for boys and girls ages 7 and up. We hold it at our store in Mataró, so it’s also important that you live nearby :)
Our students are usually girls, but we’d love to welcome a little designer or tailor. If you think your son might be drawn to the world of sewing, rest assured that he’ll feel very comfortable and accepted in the group too.
They don’t need to know how to sew by machine: we teach them everything from scratch. They’ll use the machines we have in the store, so there’s no need to bring one from home (even if you already have one).
How much does it cost and what does it include?
In addition to use of the machine, the price also includes materials: fabric, thread, zippers, trims, buttons… In short, everything they need to bring their chosen project to life.
The 4-class package costs €80. That is, €20 for each three-hour class with materials included. Groups are small, with a maximum of 6 people, so they can truly learn and have our full attention.
If you’d like to reserve individual classes or days, the cost of each one would rise to €25. In that case, write to us through this link and tell us about your situation. We’ll only be able to confirm the reservation starting Saturday, December 30, because we give preference to packages.
