One of the recurring topics on our blog, naturally, is learning to sew. We always try to show you the many advantages and benefits of sewing and all the good things it can bring to your life. We’re still learning every day, and we’ve discovered that a wonderful way to improve is to teach other people how to sew.
Teaching sewing helps us better understand what we do, confronts us with new challenges and problems, and, above all, gives us tremendous satisfaction. Why not continue this wonderful chain yourself? If someone in your surroundings or close circle is interested in what you do and is amazed by your projects, have you ever offered to teach them?
Maybe you’re thinking that you wouldn’t know where to begin, and that teaching someone who has never sat down at a sewing machine isn’t easy. But don’t worry: don’t exhaust yourself before you even start. There are no secrets here; you just have to take it one little step at a time. At first, there’s only the sewing machine, and you have to forget about everything else—don’t let impatience get the better of you. Stitches, needles, presser feet, thread, tension… try to remember the mystery they held for you and simply break that knowledge down step by step.
