In just over a month, I traveled twice with my family, and after packing for myself and the 3 little ones, you realize that you have to be very organized so you don’t forget anything and can keep everything close at hand.
I thought the best way to help with that and keep everything organized was to use bags where you can store everything by category: socks, underwear, T-shirts, sneakers...
Ideally, they would be transparent, so at a glance you can see everything you’ve packed or what you’re forgetting without having to mess up the whole suitcase. They’re also very practical when you arrive at your destination, since you can take things out quickly and put them away in their place.
So I’m bringing you this tutorial to learn how to make them. You can change the measurements, make them differently, and have several depending on what you’re going to store in them.
With the fabric we used, mesh (which you can find in several colors at I Love kutchi), you’ll be able to use them to wash socks so they don’t get lost in the washing machine, or wash bras so their clasps don’t catch on the rest of your clothes.
And if you like to travel, yesterday in the Lulu Ferris we uploaded the tutorial for making a luggage cover, which is really cute—a way to spot your suitcase quickly, and it also keeps it from getting scratched. Plus, it looks really nice. You can make several, and it’ll feel like you have brand-new luggage every time.
