What you’ll make
Make a foldable, semi-rigid fabric jewelry case for storing earrings, rings, bracelets, and necklaces at home or while traveling.
Protective fabric flaps cover the contents when the case is folded. Hook-and-loop tape keeps it closed, while a snap-fastened padded handle lets you hang it open for easy access.
What you’ll learn in this class

Fabric and supplies
Use coordinating or contrasting woven fabrics with Decovil Light for structure. The organizer also uses Kraft-tex, bias tape, hook-and-loop tape, stuffing, and snaps.
Pinking shears can neaten the turned pieces. Water-soluble fabric glue holds Kraft-tex in place without the permanent holes that pins would leave.
Make it your own
Change the fabric combinations or rearrange the holes in the Kraft-tex panel to suit your earrings. You can also scale the case up or down for a different collection or use.
Finished size
When folded, the case measures approximately 8 cm high by 18 cm wide.
