You’ve spent days working on a garment that turned out beautifully, and now that it’s finally finished, something is missing… You’d like to give it a personal touch, to sign it as if it were a painting. Especially if the garment is going to be a gift. But you’re so particular that you don’t want a simple piece of fabric embroidered or written on with a fabric marker. You want something truly beautiful! In that case, what you need are Tilda clothing labels.

But today we want to show you their clothing labels and give you some alternative ideas for making the most of their full potential.
If you make garments from time to time, but not in a series, this pack is perfect for you. Nine labels in different sizes, all different. (Note: if what you need are labels in series, take a look at this other post).
These are the measurements:
- Small (3×7 cm): The typical elongated labels, made smaller so they don’t get in the way, for sewing onto the back of the neck. With the text «handmade by …» and a dotted line for writing the artist’s name. The same design in different colors, so you can always choose.
- Medium (7×7 cm): These are square, larger, and more eye-catching. The design is adorable, with a pair of bunnies and the inscription «made with (little heart) by …». They’re so pretty that it’s almost a shame to sew them on the inside.
- Large (7.5×8 cm): The super-label! With a beautiful filigree of flowers and leaves. Impossible to ignore, and more decorative than identifying.

And as pretty as they are, what can you do with them? Well, we came up with two alternative ideas to using them as interior labels doomed never to be seen:
- As part of the design: Don’t hide them on the inside—sew them on the outside! Make them part of the design, like the big brands do. If a Chanel or Carolina Herrera label can be worn on the outside, why not yours? Place it on the outer pocket of your tote bag, on the front of your laptop sleeve, on your pediatrician record cover, on your travel document holder…
- As an identifier for children’s clothing: A back-to-school idea! Instead of putting your name, you can put your little one’s name on it to identify their backpack, their snack bag, or their school smock.
