How quickly summer is flying by! The first half of July has gone by in a flash, and we’re realizing how important it is to organize ourselves so we can make the most of our time. For example, have you done something you’ve really wanted to do but kept putting off until “there’s time”? For example… start sewing your own clothes! No? Then here are 3 reasons to learn to sew this summer—let’s see if we can motivate you!
Sewing is much more than a way to “kill” time; it’s not just a hobby… Just look where it has taken us! It’s a way of life that involves so many beautiful values: doing it yourself, practicing responsible consumption (knowing whose hands made the clothes you wear), developing creativity, putting handmade goods ahead of industrial ones, and so much more.

Summer is for resting, lying in the sunshine, and taking a breather, of course. But time is a little strange. When you let it pass by just like that, it seems to get shorter and move faster. But if you make active use of it and do something “tangible” with it, you’ll see how it stretches out and goes much further.
That’s why we think summer is the perfect time to learn to sew. You can make that extra time you have expand and leave you with something useful and enriching once summer is over.
