Today we wanted to share different tutorials for sweatshirts, sweaters, and more that you can find in our sewing academy, Lulu Ferris.
A perfect dress because it keeps you warm, is comfortable, and makes you feel well dressed.
The neckline is Asian-inspired to give it a different touch, with wide cuffs, a “waistband” piece at the hem to give it shape, and pockets for carrying what we need and keeping our hands nice and warm.
In addition to this sweatshirt dress, the pattern also allows you to make it short and turn it into a regular shirt/sweatshirt.
The fabric for the dress is a fleece-backed sweatshirt fabric from Telas Maya, and for the other version as a regular sweatshirt, a velvet with lots of drape from Pugu Textile.
The sizes you’ll find in the pattern range from 36 to 50.
A basic piece can never be missing from any wardrobe, and this time we wanted to remind you about this great basic Richard sweater that we have in the club for men. It can be worn with either a more casual or a dressier style.
Sweater with a V-neck and chest pocket.
The fabric is from Tipa Fabrics, and it’s the turquoise knit, but you can use whichever fabric you prefer as long as it’s a little stretchy.
The pattern is available from size S to XXL.
Perfect for those days when it’s sunnier and you don’t need to bundle up as much.
You can make it in whatever color you like, and it offers lots of combinations since you can wear it with a dress, jeans, or whatever you feel like.
You also have the option of making it long, short, and/or with puff sleeves.
The fabric we used for the long version was the cable knit in Dusty Rust , and for the short version, the baby knit Dusty Rose. Both fabrics are from I love Kutchi. But as we always say, you can use whichever fabric you like best as long as it’s a little stretchy—in this case, any knit-type fabric, a wide rib knit… it depends on the style you want to give it.
You’ll find the pattern in sizes 36 to 50.
Perfect and super comfortable for the little ones at home.
You can make it in one color, combine colors, use a print… whatever you like best for them to give it an original touch.
The fabric is a knit; you can use French terry, fleece-backed knit or one with an inner pile to make it warmer, and the cuffs are made with rib-knit fabric from Tejidos Pulido.
The pattern is for sizes 5–6 years to 12–13 years.
Classic men’s and women’s sweatshirt with a super-comfortable kangaroo pocket.
In the pattern, you’ll see that you have 2 options for making it, along with lots of options for customizing it and giving it a different touch.
You can find the fabrics we used at I love Kutchi, and the one in the tutorial is the Bold Stripe from Fabrics and Friends.
The pattern is available in sizes S to XXL.
A one-piece suit with lots of options, since it can become a super costume, a nice warm pair of pajamas, or a dressier jumpsuit simply by changing the fabric.
The sizes you’ll be able to make the one-piece suit in range from 12–18 months to 5–6 years.
Raglan Sweatshirt for Kids and Women
A perfect basic for cold weather and for sunnier days when you don’t need to put on a jacket.
We made this sweatshirt so everyone at home can match if you make them alike, but you can also make one individually or make each one with a different print or color.
The pattern for kids ranges from size 12–18 months to size 9–10 years. And the pattern for women is available in S, M, L, and XL.
