Let’s make a tutorial to help us feel more comfortable both at the beach and by the pool. We all know that stretching out on the sand or grass isn’t exactly comfortable, especially for your head.
And if you want to read a little or take a nap, it can be pretty hard. We’ve all tried making a cushion out of sand, but it loses its shape….. and it’s just not the same.
That’s why we’re bringing you this peanut-shaped cushion, which is going to become your best friend on those days. It’s very easy to sew, and you can even use scraps from a swimsuit you’ve made, so you can match!
For this tutorial, we chose an avocado-print microfiber swimsuit fabric (it isn’t stretchy) that dries quickly and resists sun, chlorine, and the beach. You can find it at Cal Joan, and you can make a matching set with the Will swimsuit for men or the Tarifa swimsuit for kids.
Here’s the pattern:
And here’s the tutorial—happy sewing!
