With plenty of summer still ahead, now is the perfect time to start getting ready for back-to-school. You already know that, for us, that means sewing the things they’ll need for the new school year. To take it slowly and think carefully about what we’re going to make and how, it’s better to start now than in September, right? That’s why today’s post reminds you of some really fun tutorials for back-to-school. Among them is the latest one we uploaded to the Club, which will be very useful: how to make a school smock that opens in the front.

Last year, we uploaded a tutorial to the Club for making a school smock for little ones. It didn’t have buttons; it was closed and pulled on over the head. But many moms asked us to make a tutorial for this other style: open in the front and fastened with buttons.
They’re both beautiful, so you can use whichever one you like best or whichever better suits the child’s needs or age. Of course, you can also make it in a larger size for yourself if you’re a teacher or an artist who gets very messy while creating ;)
